The Medical Records Technician is responsible for receipt and preparation of all materials related to internal and external correspondence and requests for medical records information. Abstracts and assembles patient discharge records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of medical records.Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.
