The role focuses on keeping patient records accurate, complete, and accessible while protecting confidentiality. You will handle scanning, indexing, EHR data entry, and requests from clinical, administrative, and billing staff, all while adhering to HIPAA and internal policies.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, organize, scan, and index paper and electronic medical records
• Request and track records from healthcare providers and other authorized sources
• Process medical record release requests in accordance with established procedures
• Review records for completeness and route them to the appropriate team
• Enter and update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Respond to requests from clinical, administrative, and billing staff
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and workplace policies
• Help with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
