Manage and track physician orders, following up on outstanding documents to support timely completion.
Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
Respond to questions and requests by phone, email, fax, and written correspondence.
Sort and distribute reports and documents to the appropriate team members.
Generate computer reports and review records for accuracy and completeness.
Request, gather, and organize documents needed for patient records and billing.
Retrieve and file correspondence.
Complete scanning, faxing, copying, and data entry.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong data entry and auditing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Google productivity tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Ability to analyze information, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
