California Park Post Acute in Chico, CA is seeking a Medical Records Assistant to transcribe orders, enter data into EMR, and maintain accurate resident charts. On-site position with potential duties during state surveys. The candidate should have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and prior medical records experience is preferred.

• Previous experience in medical records preferred.
• Must read, interpret, and communicate medical information in English.
• Strong math skills for measurements and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Transcribe physician and nursing orders accurately onto documents.
• Enter information into EMR and other computer systems.
• Keep resident charts up to date and organized.
• Notify staff of new orders and notes as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Assist with preparation for state inspections and surveys.
• Respond professionally to calls and coordinate with staff and families.
