Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Medical Records Clerk in West Palm Beach, FL to assemble, organize, and manage patient health information and charts. You will enter data into the electronic records system, coordinate with physicians, assign codes, and maintain quality standards while working under supervision. The role is onsite Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with travel as needed and a starting pay range of $38,000–$45,800 plus bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Records experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Quick to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.
• Committed to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed.
• Enter required patient information into the electronic records system.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information.
• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines.
