Job summary

Cedar Sinai Park is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Assistant to support the Medical Records and Nursing Administration teams at Robison Health & Rehab Center in Portland, Oregon. You will manage scanning, uploading, organizing resident records, and supporting audits to ensure survey readiness.

Strong organization, confidentiality, and computer skills are essential. Prior experience with PCC and healthcare records is preferred, with no nursing license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in administrative, clerical, data entry, or document management preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred (skilled nursing, long-term care, or medical office).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan, upload, index, and organize resident medical documentation in PCC.
• Maintain complete, organized electronic medical records.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and related documentation.
• Audit records and identify missing or incomplete documents.
• Support HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements.
