Socket.dev is seeking a Records Management Coordinator to maintain and secure all records within a nursing center, ensuring compliance with regulations. You will perform accurate diagnostic coding to support proper patient billing and create medical records for new admissions.

Responsibilities include routine audits from admission to discharge and maintaining the electronic diagnosis list, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• College degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, secure and store all written and electronic records per regulations.
• Perform accurate diagnostic coding to ensure correct patient billing.
• Create medical records for all new patient admissions.
• Perform routine audits of medical records from admission through discharge.
• Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.
