Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Illinois is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to maintain resident medical records in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will ensure the accuracy and proper management of records from pre-admission to post-discharge.

Ideal candidates have two years of medical records experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC, knowledge of ICD coding, and strong written and verbal communication. RHIA/RHIT preferred; professional image and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical records experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings preferred.
• RHIA or RHIT credential preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, laws and regulations as they pertain to LTC/SNF/AL/MC.
• Strong written and oral communication; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Ensure management and accuracy of medical resident records from pre-admission to post-discharge.
