You will support clinical staff by retrieving, filing, and releasing information, tracking appointments, and assisting with documentation and record retention. This full-time role offers benefits and ongoing CEUs in a correctional healthcare setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate is required.
• Experience with medical records and clerical duties preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, organize, and update patient records and health information systems.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper release of medical information per HIPAA.
• Retrieve, file, and manage clinical documentation such as lab and consultation reports.
• Support operations through appointment tracking and record management.
• Assist with compliance initiatives and record retention requirements.
• Assist providers during clinic operations including vitals and injections.
