Campbell Clinic PC in Cookeville, TN is hiring a Tier 1 Medical Records Clerk to ensure medical records are complete and accessible for review. The role requires scanning, charting, and coordinating documents within the electronic medical record system.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of medical records experience, and strong MS Office skills. The position offers full-time hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year prior experience in Medical Records or similar field required.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Scans all relevant documentation into the electronic medical record, such as registration forms, anesthesia documents and other clinical records as needed.
• Retrieves notes from outside entities and places them in the correct charts.
• Ensures transcriptions from outside clinics are completed and filed in the chart in a timely manner.
• Assists in retrieving archived paper charts and scans them into the medical record according to retention and destruction policy.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance and works cooperatively with others.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
