Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and file patient medical records as the Medical Records professional.
• Scan and upload documents accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Respond to medical records requests from patients, hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements.
• Track admissions, discharges, and other required patient documentation.
• Assist with audits, record retention, and other medical records processes as needed.
