Job summary

Humana, Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Records Clerk 1 to assemble and maintain patients' health information and charts. Remote position requiring Florida residency; 40 hours weekly with potential travel locally. Reporting to Manager, Clinic/Center Administration.

The role involves basic administrative tasks, data entry and clerical duties within a supportive, patient-facing team, contributing to accurate records and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Less than 3 years' working knowledge of computers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Ability to travel locally (potentially overnight occasionally)
• You must reside in the State of Florida
• You will be part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires you to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-9 codes
• Humana considers this role patient facing and runs its TB screening program

Note: This is a remote position. You must reside in the State of Florida.

• We prefer candidates residing in Eastern Florida.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-9 codes
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Humana considers this role patient facing and runs its Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, which includes this role. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
