Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk at Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, Missouri. The role involves initiating and maintaining offender health records, handling requests, and performing clerical duties to support continuity of care.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Experience in medical records or administrative support is preferred, with typical day shifts Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Farmington Correctional Center located in Farmington, Missouri.

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. Works closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• One year of medical office experience preferred


• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.


• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred


• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred


• Computer/Data Entry experience


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm
