The Orchards at Redford is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records & Central Supply Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position manages the facility's medical supplies and maintains accurate medical records to support clinical and administrative operations.

The role requires accurate record-keeping, compliance with HIPAA, strong organization, and basic computer skills. A high school diploma is required, and prior experience in records or inventory is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical records management and/or supply inventory preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare documentation standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computers, filing systems, and basic inventory software.
• Ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to 40 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Central Supply Duties: Order, receive, and inventory medical and office supplies; distribute supplies to departments; maintain accurate usage records; liaise with vendors; keep storage areas clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Medical Records Duties: Maintain, organize, and file resident medical records per HIPAA and facility policies; assist with scanning and archiving; ensure records are up-to-date and accessible; respond to record requests; support audits and compliance reviews.
