SUN MAR HEALTH CARE in Vista, CA is seeking a part-time Medical Records Assistant to support our clinical team by managing patient records with care and confidentiality. This role focuses on accuracy, privacy, and timely access to information to aid quality care.

You will create and retrieve records, maintain files in health information portfolios, ensure completeness and security, and code data for reimbursement purposes, following established policies and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Create new medical records and retrieve existing records by gathering appropriate folders and contents.
• Maintain files in a patient's health information portfolio, including medical history, symptoms, examination results, diagnostic tests, treatment methods, and other services.
• Ensure files are accurate, filled out properly, organized, and secure.
• Code patients' medical information for reimbursement purposes.
