Job summary

Atria Health Institute is seeking a Medical Records Data Analyst to join our founding LA team and manage members’ medical records and EHR data with accuracy and confidentiality.

You will collaborate with the Care Team to ensure timely record updates, data integrity, and secure handling of sensitive information. A background in healthcare records and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or similar healthcare training preferred.
  • 2+ years of healthcare medical records experience.
  • Proficient with EHR systems, email, internet searches, and multitasking across software.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data integrity for registration and chart abstraction.
  • Update and reconcile medical records across sources.
  • Input allergies, history, diagnoses codes, tests, and treatments.
  • Organize patient information in the EHR by labeling and routing documents.
  • Assist in collecting medical records from internal and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and request information as needed.
  • Keep records secure and accessible for the Care Team.

We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee.

After successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.

About this role: This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our founding LA team as a Medical Records Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Care Team to manage the medical records and EHR data of our Members with accuracy, confidentiality, and urgency. Specifically, you will:

  • Be responsible for all data integrity activities related to registration and chart abstraction of historical clinical data.
  • Update and review medical records by reconciling information, notifying health care providers of record discrepancies and tracking outstanding records.
  • Record member medical information, to input allergies, history, correct classification codes for diagnoses, testing procedures, and treatments.
  • Organize patient information in EHR by correctly scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents.
  • Assist in the collection and filing of medical records for members from external and internal health care delivery systems.
  • Troubleshoot inaccuracies and discrepancies regarding medical records, requesting additional information when necessary.
  • Keep medical records organized, accessible and secure.
  • Collaborate with Atria Teams to answer inquiries in response to requests related to forms, medical records, program, and storage systems utilized in securing access to medical records.
  • Provide administrative support and complete related tasks as assigned by leadership.

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000

Job Requirements:

  • Associate Degree, additional medical assistant or nursing training/certification is preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience with health care system medical records.
  • Proficient using EHRs, email, internet searches, and multitasking across software, effective phone and direct communication skills.
