Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a customer-focused Medical Receptionist who will be the first contact for patients. You will help create a positive patient experience while supporting efficient office operations and care delivery.

You will welcome patients, verify eligibility, handle scheduling, assist with MyChart, and support billing and records. A high school diploma or GED is required with 1–2 years in a medical or service setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; work permit for younger applicants may be accepted.
• 1–2 years of medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, check-in/registration, and insurance verification is a plus.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, helping create a positive experience while supporting efficient office operations and exceptional patient care.

General Requirements:

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or between the ages of 15-17 with a valid work permit from their high school. Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are preferred, but not required.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of experience in a medical or physician office or customer service environment preferred.
