Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will help create a positive experience while supporting efficient office operations and patient care.

Day-to-day duties include greeting patients, checking them in, verifying insurance, scheduling, answering calls, and assisting with MyChart. Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical/office or customer service setting preferred.
• Coursework in insurance/billing or medical practice education is a plus.

General Requirements

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or between the ages of 15-17 with a valid work permit from their high school. Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are preferred, but not required.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of experience in a medical or physician office or customer service environment preferred.
