Job summary

International Community Health Services (ICHS) is hiring a Medical Receptionist Lead in Bellevue, WA to supervise front desk operations, coordinate scheduling, check-in/out patients, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience.

You will support the Assistant Health Center Manager with hiring, coaching, training, and problem solving while upholding HIPAA, accurate billing coordination, and patient communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years health care/insurance setting preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages valued.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the reception team to ensure efficient patient check-in and check-out.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification with accuracy.
• Serve as primary contact for patient inquiries, addressing concerns promptly.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate reception staff for high customer service and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline workflows and improve patient experience.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
