Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Tennessee seeks a Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional front-desk support and patient intake coordination.

Responsibilities include processing payments, guiding patients through intake, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations. The role emphasizes compassionate patient service in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude towards patients and offer a high-quality experience.
• Guide new patients through the intake process to ensure a smooth start.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for drug screens as needed.
• Maintain daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support.
• Oversee patient accounts and financial responsibilities.

Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist
