Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Newport, TN is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to deliver exceptional front-desk service. You will check in patients, process payments, and support daily operations with a professional, welcoming demeanor.

You will guide new patients through intake, collect samples as needed, and collaborate with clinicians to coordinate admissions, while maintaining accurate records and providing top-notch clerical assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
• Healthcare experience or office administration preferred.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service when checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting daily operations.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude toward patients and offer a high-quality experience.
• Guide new patients through their intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed.
• Maintain daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support and oversee patient accounts.

Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist

• Responsible for providing excellent customer service checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting in daily operations.


• Maintain friendly, professional attitude towards patients, offer a “white glove” experience.


• Provide an exceptional experience by guiding new patients through their intake process.


• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed


• Maintains daily financial records and reports


• Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes


• Provides clerical and logistical support


• Oversees patient accounts and financial responsibilities

Education And Experience Requirements

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.


• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.


• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.


• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
