Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care Frontline team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Call Center:

  • Handle incoming calls in a Call Center environment, maintaining at least 93% availability during scheduled hours. Follow department guidelines and processes.

Front Desk:

  • Greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and support clerical duties.

Support department/site ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance, providing service support to patients requesting care.

Department Overview

St. Louis Park Family Medicine is hiring a receptionist to support check-in, registration, and clerical work. The department operates weekdays from 7am to 6pm, with occasional Saturdays. The role involves checking patients in and clerical duties in our department assistance office. The department is fast-paced, serving over 200 patients daily with a team dedicated to excellence and diversity.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, varied hours between 7am and 7pm, with occasional Saturday mornings.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 months related experience
  • Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
  • Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
  • Proficiency with telephone, headsets, PC, printer, copier, fax

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to promote patient relations and confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to sit for long periods
