This role focuses on greeting patients, coordinating care from evaluation to discharge, and maintaining accurate records, while supporting licensed staff and ensuring a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Previous experience in a medical or therapy setting is a plus.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Previous experience with medical software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service.
• Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Verifying current personal and financial information.
• Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records.
• Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments.
• Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned.
• Assist licensed physical therapy staff by observing patients during therapeutic exercises, ensuring safety and proper technique while under direction of licensed clinical staff.
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and shared spaces; launder linens and sanitize treatment areas.
• Assemble, disassemble, and maintain therapy equipment to ensure functionality.
