Cumberland House Surgery seeks a Medical Receptionist to join their dynamic doctors' surgery team in Missouri. This role involves patient interaction, administrative support, and ensuring efficient reception operations. Flexibility is key, with responsibilities including appointment scheduling and providing clerical assistance.
Cumberland House Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic, understanding, flexible, and well-organized individual to join our busy doctors' surgery team.
Our reception team is led by Office Manager Mariam, and the clinical team includes 2 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Health Care Assistant, and 2 Phlebotomists, all supportive and caring.
Applicants must be available for both morning (starting at 8:00 am) and afternoon shifts (finishing at 6:30 pm). Working days will be discussed at interview, with flexibility needed to cover holidays and sickness.
The successful candidate will be able to join the NHS Pension Scheme and take 5.5 weeks of annual leave, excluding bank holidays.
Previous experience in a GP practice is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

We support our clinical team by signposting patients to appropriate healthcare services, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role includes reception duties and administrative support to ensure a professional service to our patient population.
