Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
- Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
- Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
- Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, confirm them, and notify staff of changes.
- Provide patients with orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and directions to facilities if needed.
- Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
- Safeguard patient property and health information, including on-site medications and financial data.
- Maintain professional behavior, respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities, and interact diplomatically with patients, families, and staff.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Experience in customer service; medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience are preferred.
