Valley Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Family Practice team at the Easthampton Health Center. This is a dynamic environment offering an excellent opportunity!

Position Details:
  • Location: Easthampton
  • Hours: 40 hours/week, generally Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm, with occasional rotating weekend shifts. Exact schedule to be discussed at interview.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Patient check-in: obtain demographic info, verify insurance, collect payments, provide forms
  • Patient check-out: schedule follow-up appointments
  • Document interactions in the EMR
  • Manage reception inboxes and portal messages, respond to questions, schedule appointments
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a medical receptionist or in a front office role
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience handling multiline phones
