Simon Eye and Center for Advanced Eye Care are partner practices with a combined 27 Optometrists, 8 Ophthalmologists, and 150 staff serving patients across Delaware and Pennsylvania, with locations in West Chester and Bucks County. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients. In our fast-paced environment, you will greet and check-in patients, ensuring a top-notch customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Accurately enter and communicate patient charges
• Collect co-payments as required by insurance guidelines
• Review registration info, verify insurance plans
• Maintain patient insurance and demographic data
• Resolve patient issues by gathering relevant information and coordinating with departments
• Schedule appointments
• Communicate with providers and staff throughout the day

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of exceptional customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Ability to understand and communicate insurance information professionally
• Strong multi-tasking skills, working quickly and accurately
• Proficiency in computer databases and typing
• High professionalism and self-motivation
• Availability to work at least one evening per week and two Saturdays per month
