Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine in Atlanta seeks a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to manage patient flow, oversee pre-patient follow-up, and coordinate with intake staff while verifying insurance and contact details during appointments. You will work with onsite Medical Assistant and physician leads to ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate data entry, and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Exceptional customer service background; administrative and clerical ability.
• Critical thinker, innovative, friendly, compassionate.
• Excellent communication skills and supervisory ability.
• Working knowledge of medical and billing terminology.
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes; experience with medical pre-authorization.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors and vendors; oversee patient flow.
• Manage pre-patient clinic follow-up and coordinate patient care with intake staff.
• Ensure all patient information is collected in the clinic, verifying insurance and relevant contact information during each appointment.
• Ensure optimal use of the facility throughout all hours of operations, ensuring patient and physician satisfaction and compliance with systems, policies, and procedures established for the office practice suite.
• Adhere to office procedures and work collaboratively with your onsite Medical Assistant and physician leads, as well as your supervisor, to maintain PRM standards.
• Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment that promotes healing.
• Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity, and in compliance with HIPAA laws.
• Other duties as assigned by the department lead/manager.

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is a physician-led specialty health care organization whose core business is to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment services for those suffering with chronic pelvic pain. Approximately 15-25% of men and women suffer from pelvic discomfort. In the US chronic pelvic pain impacts 28 million women and is projected to grow to 43.6 million by 2050 according to the NICHD.

Persistent pelvic pain is often overlooked, untreated, and misguided. At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be overseeing patient flow to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. You will manage pre-patient clinic follow-up and coordinate patient care with the intake staff while ensuring that all necessary patient information is collected and verified during appointments, including insurance and contact details.
