Accuity Delivery Systems, LLC is seeking a CDI Query Writer to facilitate compliant queries with providers, ensuring proper translation of medical records and capturing the true clinical picture for reimbursement.

In this role you will assess clinical indicators, collaborate to avoid misinterpretation, write queries per AHIMA/ACDIS and AHA guidelines, and ensure accurate diagnoses and procedures are documented for optimal reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in inpatient CDI processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with AHIMA and ACDIS guidelines is required.
• Ability to interpret medical records and translate into accurate codes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation quality.

Responsibilities

• Assess clinical indicators and distribute queries to appropriate providers.
• Collaborate to clarify and avoid misinterpretation in queries.
• Create compliant queries per AHIMA/ACDIS and AHA guidelines for reimbursement.
• Construct precise queries with proper grammar and punctuation.
• Utilize ICD-10 guidelines to ensure accurate severity of illness/risk of mortality.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards; participate in ongoing education.
