Job summary

IRP Medical in San Clemente, CA is seeking a QC Inspector 1 (1st Shift) to verify product conformance to customer requirements through visual and dimensional inspection and to support testing and documentation for release.

IRP Medical manufactures silicone and elastomer components for medical applications; strong emphasis on precision, cleanliness, and impact in healthcare. Medical device industry exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing inspection experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read/interpret part drawings and work orders.
• Understanding of GMP/GDP requirements.
• English reading/writing/speaking; Spanish helpful.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to product conformity.
• Previous inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for visual defects per requirements.
• Measure dimensions using contact/non-contact equipment/vision systems.
• Read/understand part drawings, work orders, and instructions.
• Review certificates, labels for accuracy and GMP/GDP compliance.
• Document inspection results and maintain records.
