Materialise is seeking a Medical Process Engineer for the Plymouth, MI area. You will partner with the global Production team on 3D printing, post-processing, cleaning, and production planning, becoming the technical expert for development and operations.

You will drive process improvements under medical quality standards, validate new equipment and processes, and ensure robust documentation and training across rapid, compliant production environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Several years in a process (validation) engineering role in regulated industries.
• Quality oriented with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to think outside the box when needed.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-organized and ownership-driven.
• Excellent coordination and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• You work with the global Production team on topics related to 3D printing, post-processing, cleaning and production planning; become a technical expert and GoTo for development and operational questions.
• You identify, define and implement process improvements following medical quality standards; validate and document work for ongoing operational quality and efficiency.
• You maintain existing validation programs and complete new equipment, product and process validations with proper documentation and training.
• You collaborate with stakeholders from operations, device development, biosafety, research, quality and regulatory teams to shape growth trajectories.
