Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NextGen and Epic experience required.
• 3+ years of procedure and/or scheduling experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical procedures, diagnostic tests, and surgeries according to provider orders.
• Coordinate procedure dates, times, and locations with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and obtain prior authorizations when required.
• Ensure all pre-procedure requirements are completed (labs, imaging, clearances, consents).
• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding preparation, arrival times, and post-procedure expectations.
• Communicate with operating rooms, imaging departments, and specialty clinics to ensure availability.
