Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Medical Practice LPN in Danbury, CT, to support the Vascular Surgery team. The role runs Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, in office settings, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time externals and travel between practices as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting clinicians during exams, obtaining histories, administering medications, processing specimens, and providing patient education and follow-up. Requires active CT LPN license and BLS within 30 days.

• BLS certification required within 30 days.
• Preferred: vascular/vein experience.

• Administers medications and vaccinations as directed by the clinician; educates patient and family on preventive care and test prep.
• Contacts patient to provide follow-up, informs test results or relays clinician instructions.
• Fulfills and adheres to all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Maintains and models the organization’s values.
• Demonstrates regular, dependable and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Medical Practice LPN position in the Vascular Surgery department in Danbury, CT

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, between 8:00am-4:30pm.

*Summary:*To assist the clinician in providing medical care to the patients of the Medical Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist clinician with the patient's medical exam.

• Obtains the patient's history and medical information.

• Fulfills and adheres to all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

Ability to travel between practices as needed.

Required: Active LPN License based on state; BLS certification required within 30 days.

Preferred: Vascular/ Vein experience

Education Required:

• HS Graduate or Equivalent.

• Graduate of an accredited LPN Program.
