Nexus Health Multi Specialty, affiliated with McKesson Specialty Health and US Oncology, a leader in cancer care, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Medical Concierge Liaison to work at our Primary Care site located in Santa Fe, NM. SCOPE: A Medical Concierge combines elements of patient support, sales event coordination, and brand advocacy, acting as a point of contact for Primary Care patients while also promoting the organization's services. They may handle scheduling, referrals, and ensure patient satisfaction, while also potentially participating in sales events and building brand awareness. In essence, a Medical Concierge acts as a patient advocate, a liaison between different departments, and potentially a sales representative and brand ambassador, all while contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of patients.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medical Concierge Responsibilities:

  • Patient Support:

Assisting patients with navigating the practice system, scheduling appointments, making referrals, and addressing concerns.

  • Communication:

Serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and staff, communicating effectively and empathetically.

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate patient records, including electronic and hard copies.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

Managing appointment schedules, coordinating with various departments and providers, and rescheduling no-shows.

  • Patient Satisfaction:

Ensuring patient satisfaction through personalized service, addressing inquiries, and anticipating needs.

Sales Event Coordinator/Brand Ambassador Responsibilities:

Sales Event

  • Participating in sales events, promoting the organization's services, and interacting with potential clients.

Brand Awareness

  • Promoting the organization's brand and mission, building relationships with stakeholders, and representing the organization positively.

Event Coordination

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of events, including event logistics, vendor management, and guest relations.

Customer Relations

  • Building strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and addressing inquiries promptly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or patient liaison role, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Empathetic, patient-focused approach with a strong service orientation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. It requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. -Required to lift and assist patients as requested.
