Job summary

Martech Medical Products, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts at our Pennsylvania facility. You will produce medical grade extrusions, read drawings, set up equipment, and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle material handling daily.
• Extrusion experience, medical grade tubing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, reasoning and mathematical abilities.
• Ability to work well with others and meet ISO documentation.
• Strong note-taking and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Produces medical grade extrusions of various profiles from simple to complex.
• Reads and understands product drawings to determine specifications and tooling.
• Sets up extruder and relevant tooling; prepares raw compounds for each run.
• Operates and maintains extrusion tooling, dies, mandrels, and related equipment.
• Reviews dimensions and measurements on drawings or routers before starting setup.
• Uses micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and rulers to confirm specs.
• Set-up/tear down and clean extrusion equipment after daily run.
• Completes all documentation for work orders per ISO procedures.
• Checks tooling/machines for damage or wear.
