Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in medical physics (or related field) and ABR certification or eligibility, with at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in medical physics or related field.
• Board certification or eligibility in therapeutic radiological physics by ABR or equivalent.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance of linear accelerators.
• Imaging equipment and brachytherapy equipment.
• Brachytherapy procedures.
• Plan and chart review.
• Routine clinical support.
• Commissioning, maintaining, and improving equipment.

Education

Master's degree in medical physics or related field

Board Certified or Board eligibility in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent
