Talent Staffing and Recruiting is seeking a Medical Physicist (Oncology) in Oregon for a full-time, day-shift role. You will lead a high-quality physics program supporting safe radiation therapy and collaborate closely with Radiation Oncology, therapy teams, and leadership.

New grads with ~2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. The position emphasizes ownership of equipment performance, quality systems, and patient safety within a collaborative Cancer Center environment.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical Radiation Oncology foundation and comfort with fast-moving clinical environments.
• Proven ability in linac calibration and QA activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Strong mathematical/computer background; confident with software tools and clinical interfaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating across departments.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain therapeutic equipment and support overall equipment performance.
• Lead or support linac calibration, routine maintenance, and QA.
• Support treatment workflows, including daily linac treatments, daily QA, and treatment planning (3D/IMRT).
• Participate in simulation and LDR brachytherapy support as applicable.
• Serve as a technical advisor to the Radiation Safety Officer; potential dual-role responsibilities.
