Job summary
Phoenix Cyberknife & Arizona Radiation Therapy Specialist in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to join a growing radiation oncology group. You will collaborate with a team of physicists and dosimetrists across four clinics, overseeing quality control, treatment planning reviews, and safety programs.
The ideal candidate holds ABR certification (or eligibility), a Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics, and at least three years of clinical experience with Varian/Accuray systems,
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Medical Physics or related field.
- Board Certification or eligibility by ABR required or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in radiation oncology physics.
- Familiarity with Varian and Accuray products desirable.
- Experience in adaptive planning and theranostics beneficial.
- Proficient in radiation physics, dosimetry, and clinical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve clinical discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Quality control tests based on AAPM and industry standards.
- Treatment planning review and weekly chart review.
- Participation in radiation safety measures.
- Assistance in implementing new technology and equipment.
