Job summary

Medica is seeking a Pharmacy Manager, Medical Pharmacy to lead medical pharmacy policy development, utilization management, and cross-functional governance for IFB, Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare segments. The role oversees clinical, financial, and operational strategy, partnering with regulatory, compliance, and quality teams.

Office-based role requiring onsite work about 3 days per week in/or near Omaha, NE, Minnetonka, MN, Madison, WI, or St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required and active MN license or eligible.
• Minimum 5+ years in health plan pharmacy or PBM leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical pharmacy policy development and utilization management.
• Oversee medical pharmacy services across all segments and markets.
• Hire, develop, mentor, and retain high-quality staff; manage resources.
• Coordinate governance with regulatory, compliance, and quality teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drugs, trends, and healthcare regulations.
