Job Overview

APPS Paramedical Services is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG, etc.), and personal health interviews. We serve the life insurance industry's leading providers (New York Life, Primerica, Principal, Northwestern Mutual, etc.) by being the partner company providing physical examination, and invasive and noninvasive testing required for their policies to be underwritten.

Compensation

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $50.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

1. Perform mobile paramedical healthcare exams (health history, vitals, obtaining and completing specimens: blood, urine, etc.).
2. Conduct non-interpretive ECG tracings (ECG machines are not the examiner's responsibility to own).
3. Self-schedule your caseload; APPS sends you the case which you can accept or decline.
4. Maintain strong communication with the regional office's staff regarding case status or any issues.
5. Exhibit professional conduct representative of the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

1. Current licensure and a certificate of medical training are not required (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EMT/Paramedics).
2. Previous certification/licensure or commensurate experience is required.
3. Must have one year of recent phlebotomy experience and completed a minimum of 100 successful draws.
4. Valid driver’s license and own transportation with valid insurance are necessary.
5. Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills are required.
6. Must have a computer (preferably a laptop with a camera or a tablet) and a mobile phone.
