About the Company

Work from anywhere in Iowa with APPS Paramedical Services, the nation's largest and most technologically advanced health examination provider. Our network conducts physical examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG, etc.), and health interviews for leading life insurance providers such as New York Life, Primerica, Principal, and Northwestern Mutual.

Position Overview

We seek dependable, detail-oriented healthcare professionals (Critical care paramedics, RNs, LPNs, Certified MAs, Phlebotomists, EMTs, and non-CC Paramedics) to work part- or full-time, with flexible scheduling. Compensation can be up to $50/hour based on case requirements. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role; benefits like health insurance are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile healthcare exams (health history, vitals, specimen collection).
• Conduct non-interpretive ECG tracings (ECG machines are provided; ownership is not required).
• Self-schedule your caseload; accept or decline cases as they are assigned.
• Maintain professional conduct and communicate effectively with the regional office.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure or certification in relevant healthcare fields; a certificate of medical training is not required.
• At least one year of recent phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 successful draws.
• Valid driver’s license, own transportation, and insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills, including proficiency with computers and mobile devices.
