APPS Paramedical Services is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider. Our network of health professionals conducts physical examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG, etc), and personal health interviews. We serve the life insurance industry's leading providers (New York Life, Primerica, Principal, Northwestern Mutual, etc.) by providing physical examination, invasive and noninvasive testing required for policy underwriting.

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented healthcare professionals (Critical care paramedics, RNs, LPNs, Certified MAs, Phlebotomists, EMTs, & non-CC Paramedics) who are currently or previously certified or licensed, to work flexible schedules, cases, part- or full-time.

Compensation is up to $50.00 per hour, depending on case requirements.

This is a 1099G (Independent Contractor) position; APPS does not provide benefits such as health, SDI, or vision insurance.

Responsibilities May Include

• Performing mobile paramedical healthcare exams (health history, vitals, specimen collection: blood, urine, etc.).
• Non-interpretive ECG tracings; ECG machines are not the examiner's responsibility to own.
• Self-scheduling your caseload; APPS sends you cases, and you accept or decline, managing your own schedule.
• Maintaining strong communication with the regional office staff regarding case status, issues, or conflicts.
• Upholding professional conduct that reflects the healthcare industry and the company's trust.

Qualified Candidates Must Have

• Recent phlebotomy experience with at least 100 successful draws, a valid driver’s license, own transportation, and insurance.
• Experience or certification in relevant healthcare fields (e.g., RN, LPN, Med Tech, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EMT/Paramedics); licensure or certification not necessarily required for employment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills, including proficiency with computers, tablets, or smartphones.
• Attention to detail in documentation; resumes with grammatical or spelling errors will not be considered.
