Job summary

Smith+ Nephew in Mansfield is seeking an entry to mid-level assembler to support product assembly and packaging in a Lean, one-piece flow environment. You will verify counts, read drawings, apply labels, clean components, assemble manually or with fixtures, and seal products for shipment to sterilization.

The role requires at least a year in manufacturing, strong English reading/writing, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 lbs. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of manufacturing, warehouse, or retail experience.
• Able to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package medical products in a Lean environment.
• Verify components for count, quantity and revision and read drawings.
• Label, clean, and seal products using appropriate equipment.
• Complete documentation to comply with FDA, QSR and company procedures.
