Job summary

Smith Nephew is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Associate to transform machined components into finished products on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will assemble, deburr, measure with micrometers and optical tools, and document processes in a team setting.

You will read blueprints, operate finishing and marking equipment, and ensure compliance with FDA, QSR, and Smith Nephew policies. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write English and have basic math skills.
• Legible handwriting is essential for paperwork and inspections.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deburr sub-assembly components using basic finishing processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and prints.
• Operate finishing equipment such as polishing, bead-blast, and heat-treat equipment.
• Perform simple inspections and document accordingly.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with policies.
