Zusammenfassung

Atlantic Vision Partners invites a medically focused ophthalmologist to join our AVP•SEES Group practice in Texas. You will provide comprehensive medical eye care within a referral-driven model, focusing on complex eye diseases and collaboration with ophthalmologists and referring optometrists.

Responsibilities include pre-operative evaluation for cataract and refractive surgery, post-operative care, glaucoma management, and ocular surface disease treatment.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Active Tennessee medical license, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• DEA registration with unrestricted authority to prescribe medications.
• Demonstrated expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases and disorders.
• Strong clinical and surgical judgment with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive medical eye care including pre-operative evaluation for cataract and refractive surgery.
• Post-operative management of surgical patients.
• Diagnose and treat glaucoma with longitudinal care.
• Manage ocular surface disease and other eye conditions.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and referring optometrists within a referral-driven model.
• Document care and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
