Position Overview

The Medical Optometrist will provide comprehensive medical eye care and work closely with our ophthalmologists in managing a wide range of ocular diseases and surgical patients.

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive medical eye examinations
  • Glaucoma diagnosis and management
  • Diabetic eye disease management
  • Cataract evaluations and post-operative care
  • Dry eye diagnosis and treatment
  • Urgent and emergency eye care
  • Management of retinal and anterior segment disease
  • Routine comprehensive eye care
  • Patient education and long-term disease management

This position is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys practicing medical optometry in a collaborative environment while maintaining meaningful relationships with patients.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution

Schedule
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No evenings
  • No routine weekends
