Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Director of Medical Operations to lead clinical teams across markets, drive core business metrics, and support clinicians while expanding services. You will implement strategy and build relationships with employers, payers and communities to ensure superb patient care.

Ideal candidates hold board certification in occupational medicine or a related primary care field, with an unrestricted medical license and 5+ years in clinical and supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Occupational Medicine or a related primary care specialty.
• Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years directly applicable clinical and supervisory experience.
• Experience in managed care, physician management and employer groups.
• Experience developing and leading medical quality improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and patient safety across markets and service lines.
• Manage key clinical and financial metrics including PI’s, CMP, case length and other metrics.
• Monitor and coach clinical outcomes and intervene in outlier cases.
• Maintain proficiencies in EMR/PM systems to coach and fill in as needed.
• Drive patient and client experience/satisfaction metrics.
• Mentor clinicians on service delivery and collaboration with therapy/operations.
• Develop strategies addressing gaps in financial performance and growth.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop clinicians within the region.
