Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' histories and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat cancers and hematologic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, bone marrow biopsies and imaging.

• Provide supportive care and symptom management throughout treatment.
• Communicate diagnoses, options and prognoses with patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists and pathologists to coordinate care.
