Freeman Health System is seeking a versatile Outlying office MOSS/Float staff member to provide clerical support across multiple sites in Missouri. You will handle phone messages, maintain scheduling, create EMRs, collect payments, and scan documents into patient charts, while supporting behavioral health related care with trauma-informed sensitivity.

Outlying office MOSS/Float performs clerical functions associated with clerical support services, medical records, and admissions specialists. This person also learns multiple different programs across the center to provide coverage. The Float travels from multiple sites to different locations where coverage is needed. This person recognizes that they will come into contact, on a daily basis, with individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. This staff demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. This person reports to the Clinical Support Team Leader.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year prior experience preferred in a medical clerical or medical records position. Medical office clerk or medical records experience preferred.
Typical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed. TB test upon hire.
