Saint Luke’s Health System in Missouri is seeking a PRN medical office assistant to support a busy clinic. This role offers flexibility in hours with the goal of covering peak times, weekends, and occasional float between locations.
You will perform front-desk duties, verify patient information, collect copayments, and assist with scheduling and communications using Epic. Ideal candidates have less than 1 year of applicable experience and a professional, patient-focused manner.

Performs a variety of functions in the medical office involving general duties, including but not limited to, answering the telephone, communicating messages through email or Epic, greeting, registering, and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient copayments, making appointment reminder calls, verifying insurance and other patient data is accurate, scanning and/or uploading patient information to patients electronic chart. Able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office, including medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc., and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned. Will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.
